China Build a new radar system in Cuba Dragon will monitor American military equipment

China Radar System: China has found a base for spying in Cuba, America’s biggest enemy country, from where it will be able to keep an eye on America’s activities. After hosting Russian nuclear submarines in Cuba, it has come to light that China is building a new radar site in Cuba capable of spying on America. The Chinese radar system is near the US Guantanamo Bay Naval Base, which is operated by the US Navy. After the start of this new radar site, China will be able to keep an eye on American warships, aircraft carriers and nuclear submarines. Apart from this, it will be able to keep an eye on every activity happening at the US Guantanamo Bay Naval Base.

Satellite images of Cuba’s new radar site have been analyzed by the Washington think tank, Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). According to CSIS, this is the latest upgrade in Cuba’s surveillance capabilities. Once the new radar site is operational, it can prove to be a powerful tool for Cuba. It will be able to monitor the maritime activities of the US Air Force and Navy. CSIS has described Cuba’s radar facility as highly modern, which can intercept data from US satellites. It will also be able to monitor US radio traffic.

Cuba will be able to monitor 8 thousand miles
The CSIS report states that Cape Canaveral in Florida has a major space launch complex. CSIS has named this report ‘Secret Signals: Decoding China’s Intelligence Activity in Cuba’. Both the US Southern Command and Central Command have their headquarters at this place. In such a situation, the US KE submarine and other military bases are also at this place. Cuba’s new center is being built near El Salao, east of Santiago de Cuba, from the year 2021. The report states that the base has a circular antenna with a diameter of about 130 to 200 meters, which can track signals from 3 thousand to 8 thousand nautical miles.

Cuba and China denied
CSIS has claimed in its report that the Chinese centre will be able to easily monitor the US military bases located 73 km east of Cuba’s second largest city Santiago. However, the claim made in the CSIS report has been denied by Cuba’s Deputy Foreign Minister, the spokesperson of the Chinese Foreign Ministry and the Chinese Embassy in the US.
